XLI - Pulmonary edema - Acute lung injury - ARDS

Transient pulmonary opacities/infiltrates (see also under Iav)

Last update 07/03/2020

Short-lived opacities are thought to represent transiently increased pulmonary permeability, intersitial lung disease, or vasculitis. May relapse upon reexposure, sometimes in the form of a more severe pattern or an ARDS picture.
