Transient pulmonary opacities/infiltrates (see also under Iav)
(Fr: opacites pulmonaires transitoires dont le caractere labile les fait attribuer a un oedème pulmonaire a minima ou fugace avec ou sans vascularite). Short-lived opacities are thought to represent transiently increased pulmonary permeability, intersitial lung disease, or vasculitis. May relapse upon reexposure, sometimes in the form of a more severe pattern or an ARDS picture.
