Work in progress

I plan to set up an “Instructions for Use” document. My experience chatting with users in meetings is that they often just did not have time to browse and ignored some useful functions.

Drug-Induced & Iatrogenic Respiratory Disease

Pneumotox: The website and App where comprehensive and documented information on Drug-Induced and Iatrogenic Respiratory Diseases (DIIRD) can be found at your fingertips. This resource is and will stay free and ad-free. It is intended to help you diagnose and manage DIIRD almost instantly.

You can browse Pneumotox by drugs (> 1,700 generic drug names in August, 2026) and/or patterns of involvement grouped according to the predominant site of respiratory injury. Relevant pneumotoxic chemicals are also listed.

A comparable resource (cardiotox.fr) more specifically addresses cardiotoxicity issues.

Pneumotox is updated daily. You can contact us anytime for supplemental information through the ‘contact’ window. I do appreciate your trust. Philippe Camus MD.
