ARDS - Acute lung injury

Bleomycin-induced ARDS can be hyperacute and fatal in a few days. Although oxygen may potentiate bleomycin toxicity, exposure to oxygen later in life after temination of treatment may have no detrimental consequences (PMID 23045915).
