Overload pulmonary edema (including posttransfusional (TACO))

(Fr: OAP de surcharge). Circulatory overload pulmonary edema occurs when the rate or amount of fluid infused is above what the circulatory system can accomodate. The variant after blood transfusion is named TACO for transfusion-associated circulatory overload.
